Opening this March on Milligan Street, Prison Island is an adrenaline-fueled action-game adventure that has already conquered Europe and the East Coast. Forget being locked in a single room for an hour—this is a 90-minute mission across 35 unique challenge "cells" designed to test your physical grit and your mental wit.
What’s Inside the Walls?
Think of it like a live-action video game or a high-stakes game show where you are the protagonist. You’ll work in teams of two to five players to rack up points and climb the live leaderboard.
The "cells" are split into different specialties, so there’s a role for everyone:
- Tactical: Crack complex color puzzles and logic games.
- Technical: Navigate intricate mechanisms and coordination tasks.
- Physical: Duck under laser beams, scale obstacles, and test your reflexes.
Because the gameplay is multi-solution and tech-heavy, no two visits are quite the same—meaning there's plenty of "repeat-play" value for those obsessed with hitting the top of the ranks.
From Sweden to the Streets of Perth
Originating in Scandinavia, the concept was brought to WA by immersive entertainment specialists Make It Now in partnership with global platform Fever.
"The Perth audience is competitive, energetic and up for a challenge - it's the perfect match," says Mikael Bouteillon, Founder of Prison Island.
Whether you’re looking for a high-intensity team-building session, a unique family day out (it’s open to ages 7+), or just a Friday night that involves more than just sitting at a bar, this is the city’s newest go-to.
