KS STUDIO by Kelly Scafidi

Kelly Scafidi has a wealth of experience in the hair dressing industry, having worked on a number of fashion editorials and runway shows spanning 17 years, while initially operating her business from home. To cope with the volume of increasing clientele and in fulfillment of a longstanding dream, she launched KS STUDIO in August 2014.

Her Vision

Along with BFF Amanda Ashurst, they designed a hair and make-up salon that reflects their vision for KS STUDIO; a space that encompasses everything they love and are passionate about. Kelly is fervent about the creative and constantly-changing styles of hair and it's ability to shape a person’s look and personality. Though challenging at times, she believes the outcome is truly rewarding. To quote Kelly; “I’m so grateful to be able to do what I love doing everyday, in a space that reflects who I am”.

The Luxury Experience

The overall vibe for the salon is derived from everything Kelly and Amanda believe in. It is unique in its attention to detail which is evident throughout KS STUDIO. From years of experience in hair styling and offering complete make-up services, the pair are constantly pushing for excellence across all parameters, in terms of service offered to clients, suppliers they use, right down to the finishing touches from Rebecca Grace florals and to the marble cookies by Petitcakes which are served with T2 tea and coffee. It’s ultimately all part of KS STUDIO’s signature style. At the end of the day, these choices are made to keep the client relaxed, indulged and inspired. They are constantly evolving and adapting to make sure that the entire experience at KS STUDIO is in keeping with the brands aesthetics.

Add a Touch of Fragrance

Aromatic Gascoigne and King candles from Sydney and Etat Libre d’Orange fragrances imported from Paris are on display and on sale. With an appreciation for niche fragrances and candles, Kelly incorporated these items into her studio to add to the indulgent experience. The studio also provide Olaplex treatments and stocks the complete range of Mr. Smith hair products, which are not only Australian made and owned, but also Paraben-free, Sulphate-free, and Vegan and PETA certified. Did I mention that they also smell incredible?

Furry Accomplices

Kelly's Boston Terriers, Kit & Banks, accompany her to the Studio daily and constitute an integral part of her salon. Remember KS STUDIO is pet-friendly.
