Forest Chase will introduce a new immersive experience in Western Australia: DayDream.

A 4m by 4m digital cube installation that features more 20,000 lights, DayDream will launch at Forrest  Chase on Thursday 1st July as part of centre’s Immersense winter activation.

Visitors to DayDream undergo an immersive experience combining the sense of time, space, sound, and colour, to warp their perception of reality and allow their imagination to run riot.

For the next five weeks, CBD shoppers will have the opportunity to experience DayDream – entering  through a darkened archway and stepping inside another world of psychedelic electric dreams.

There will be a different DayDream theme every week, making sure no two Dreams are alike. The following themes will be available throughout the activation period:

● Deep Space

● The Wild

● Over the Rainbow

● Summer Solstice

Designed by the founder behind SSIXX in Melbourne, the DayDream installation is unlike anything Perth  has ever seen before. Creative Director Philip Bucknell has imagined creative experiences for the likes of  The Met, MOMA, AUSGP, and New York Fashion Week.

Four people will be able to enter at a time, ensuring a fully immersive, otherworldly experience. The activation is free for Perth shoppers who spend $10 or more at any Forrest Chase retailer. Simply present your receipt at the reception to gain access.

DayDream will be at Forrest Chase from Thursday 1st July until Thursday 5th August, and will be open during  the following hours:

● Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday - 11am-3pm

● Friday - 11am-7pm

● Saturdays in July - 11am-7pm

The DayDream installation is located at Level 1 of Forrest Chase, near Clear Skincare Clinic. DayDream  visitors will also go in the running to win a $5,000 Forrest Chase gift voucher as part of the Immersense activation.
