If you’re one of the poor souls who isn’t fleeing Perth for the Easter long weekend, don’t feel too sorry for yourself. Even though it may feel like the entire population is vacating the city, there are still a variety of cool events to get around for the most anticipated long weekend of the year. Here are our recommendations on what to do for the Easter long weekend.

Leederville Block Party

There’s a reason why these block parties have garnered such a loyal following. Returning to the trusty grounds of Leederville, the Easter Sunday Block Party will take over The Garden, The Blue Flamingo, Babushka, and Bill’s Bar and Bites. A bevy of local DJs will take over the five - that’s right, five! - stages. With drink specials such as $8 sangria and pizza slices going for $5, Block Party has all your needs covered.

With performers, pop-up bars and eateries taking over the streets, this street festival is a quirky way of spending your Easter long weekend.

With music curated by Women of Music Production Perth (WOMPP), expect lots of feel good vibes and come in your best prom attire.
