Christmas Shopping Night at the State Buildings 

30th November

December Eve is a cause for celebration and ushering it in at the State Buildings Postal Hall is an excellent way to go about it. Enjoy special retail offers, live music from Dolce Ensembles, a pop-up Champagne bar, and product sampling, and demonstrations.

Cottesloe Village Christmas Party

1st December

Witness the inaugural launch and lighting of the newly installed light display along Napoleon Street at this free event. There will be plenty to keep visitors of all ages entertained with attractions such as petting zoos, a silent disco, roving street performers, live music performances, free food and beverage tasting and more.

 

Christmas Lights Cruises

From the 1st December

Mandurah is about to get #lit on December 1st with its annual Canals Christmas Lights competition. Taking it up a notch, Mandurah’s luxury canal homes will truly ignite the imagination with spectacular displays which reflect along the canal. For an exceptional experience, Mandurah Cruises will be operating a number of tours along the canal, complete with carol singing and festive feasting.

Perth CBD Christmas Lights Trail

until 25th December

You don’t have to venture far in the Perth CBD to discover bits and pieces of Christmas cheer. The Christmas Lights Trail is a whole new event which consists 16 installations along the city’s laneways, streets and parks. Best enjoyed with a group of friends and phone at the ready to get those necessary #Instaworthy shots!

 

Fremantle Arts Centre Christmas Bazaar

1st – 3rd December

Freo’s favourite annual Christmas Market returns on the first weekend in December. Described as a three-day shopping extravaganza, market stalls will feature WA made clothing, jewellery, ceramics, sculpture, woodwork textiles and more. If you’re after gifts that differ from the norm, Bazaar is your best bet for nabbing one-of-a-kind wares!

2nd December

A Perth Christmas isn’t without the annual Pageant. Since the first event took place in 1972, the Pageant has never failed to bring the magic of Christmas to the city of Perth each year.

Light Up Leederville Carnival 

3rd December

Leederville is set to get a whole lot brighter with this carnival, now in its sixth year. Both a celebration of the vibrant cultural hub and the Christmas season, the carnival promises live art and entertainment, market stalls, open air dining from Leederville’s finest restaurants and family attractions and rides. To top it off, there will be an Aperol Spritz bar to keep you cool into the evening when the Town Centre is lit up with Christmas lights.

Another market which is dedicated to promoting WA creative talent, Made on the Left Market poses as the perfect opportunity to pick up gifts for those who are hard to buy for. LotteryWest Symphony in the City

16th December

What better way to celebrate Christmas in Australia than a free outdoor concert on a balmy summer evening? Perth’s largest outdoor classical music concert will feature the Orchestra, WASO Chorus and special guest soloists to bring you a night of magic in the form of classical works and film music scores.
