After three huge years serving up summer on the West Coast, Ice Cream Factory Summer Festival is expanding with new East Coast dates in Brisbane and Melbourne alongside its iconic Perth home.

During this period of uncertainty in the music festival landscape Factory Summer Festival is looking to provide certainty to all consumers, with replacement dates in March confirmed for all acts, in addition to the opportunity for full refunds, should the event be rescheduled.

The organisers, who successfully undertook the recent 14,000+ attended event Froth Town in Western Australia, acknowledge the incredible and critical importance of ensuring the health and safety of all attendees and the broader public, and the event will proceed only if there is complete confidence it is safe to do so.

The Factory festival lineup is proving to be quite a tasty one

Event Co-Director Chris Bausor said the event’s unique structure provides it with the opportunity to showcase a large variety of artistic talent in a safe and healthy manner.

“Our event runs over three weeks, with capacity limited to a maximum of 4,000 per day, allowing for greater social distancing measures and a unique headline performance each night, which would not be possible in a more traditional format over a shorter period of time,” Mr Bausor said.

Factory Summer Festival is in regular communications with the relevant local and state authorities and COVID-19 Safety Plans have been prepared for each individual city, whilst all events will be compliant with directions of WA Department of Health, Queensland Health and Vic Department of Health & Human Services directions at the date of the event.

So what are you waiting for? Grab your friends and get on board as this will be a sell-out.
