2020 changed the way we do events, and last year Coopers - Australia’s largest family owned brewery - partnered with some of the biggest names in Australian music to live-stream events straight to your house.

Fast forward a year, and following the huge success of the Live, Loud & Local series, Coopers Brewery is back at it - but this time, the events are happening in real life!

Rather than ‘virtually’ opening their doors to host events, the pubs and venues are actually opening their doors, and Hotel Rottnest is kicking off the whole series this Sunday afternoon.

Starting at 2pm, Perth locals Crooked Colours will play the first show of the series which supports Australia’s hospitality and entertainment industries, as well as the local communities who have been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Crooked Colours know how to party. The alternative dance group from Perth, have previously performed at Grooving the Moo, Spilt Milk, Beyond the Valley, Bonnaroo and Splendour in the Grass.

Come on down to Hotel Rottnest this Sunday to hear some incredible Australian musical talent whilst sipping on ice-cold Australian ale. There’s no better way to spend your Sunday.

When: Sunday 17 January 2021, 2pm AWST

Where: Hotel Rottnest, 1 Bedford Ave, Rottnest Island WA

Tickets: www.cooperslocal.com.au

The Live, Loud and Local series will continue Australia-wide, with huge Australian acts playing across the nation - including The Rubens at Selina’s, playing at Coogee Bay Hotel, Sydney (Feb 3rd) and Bad//Dreems playing at the Bridgeway Hotel, Adelaide (Feb 18th). More gigs in Brisbane and Melbourne will be announced early 2021, as well as another show in Perth!
